When is Santa Train®?

Nov. 28 & 29,  Dec. 5 & 6, Dec.12 & 13 and Dec. 18 & 19. The first Santa Train® leaves North Bend at 9 a.m. Trains depart every hour; the last trip leaves at 3 p.m. It is a Reservation Only train and everyone two and older must have a ticket.

How much do tickets cost?

$16.00 each, for everyone two years old and older. When you buy your tickets, you must specify what day-date and what time you want to ride. There is a $2 per order (not per ticket) charge for any Internet, online, or telephone orders. This fee is to defray postage. Please allow until October 10th for your tickets to arrive. Call the Museum if they have not arrived by October 10th.

When do tickets go on sale?

Members are purchasing their tickets by mail and online beginning at the end of August. Santa Train® tickets go on sale to the general public on the Internet in mid-September. In-person ticket sales at the Snoqualmie Depot begin October 5th.  We do NOT accept Checks for Santa Train® tickets.  Payment for online and telephone sales may be Visa, MasterCard and American Express only.

What is the Santa Train® schedule?

Everyone boards the train at North Bend. Ride the train to Snoqualmie, come into the depot, visit with Santa, go through the Kitchen Car for refreshments then re-board the train and return to North Bend.

Is there a group discount?

There are no group rates for Santa Train® however there is a small discount if you wish to purchase an entire train. Please contact the Museum marketing department for more information.  Everyone two years and older is required to have a ticket.

What is the refund policy?

If the train runs, there are no refunds. If the Northwest Railway Museum cannot run the train because of circumstances beyond the control of the Northwest Railway Museum such as flood or fire, the ticket price will be refunded to the original purchaser. Please note that the Museum ran every train during the winter storms in December 2007.

I made a mistake; may I exchange my tickets for a different date or time?

Tickets can not be exchanged.

Does my 2-year old need a ticket?

Yes. Every participant aged two (2) years and older requires a ticket..

May I use my Museum Membership ticket vouchers for Santa Train®?

No. The membership ticket vouchers are “Not Valid for Santa Train®”

Is there assigned seating?

Sorry, but no. If you want to sit with your friends, you all need to be at the North Bend Depot in time to get in line together. We suggest you arrive at the North Bend Depot at least 30 minutes before your scheduled train. This should give you enough time to find a place to park your car, visit the restrooms (there are NO restrooms on the train) and to find your friends so you can sit together on the train.

Where do I park in North Bend?

The City of North Bend has several public parking lots. Please use these public lots. Click here for a map of downtown North Bend parking. Please be courteous of local businesses on North Bend Way as parking is at a premium.
